How We Got Started!

As a first-generation Mexican American, celebrations are deeply rooted in my culture. We cherish every occasion—birthdays, quinceañeras, sweet sixteens, the arrival of new family members, and even the lives of those we've lost. Parties are how we honor life's most precious moments.

Growing up, I always loved planning and setting up our family gatherings. Whether it was a family reunion or a friend's celebration, I found joy in perfecting the details—the decorations, the seating, and making sure everything flowed beautifully. The greatest reward was watching everyone enjoy themselves, knowing I had helped create that special moment. I dreamed of turning this passion into something more—a business where I could help others create unforgettable events.

That dream became a reality in the most unexpected way. My husband, knowing how much this meant to me, made a tremendous sacrifice. He sold his beloved motorcycle—something that held great value to him—and surprised me with the funds to start Shields Event Rentals, LLC.

Today, Shields Event Rentals, LLC is more than just a business—it’s a testament to love, dedication, and shared sacrifices. We are passionate about making every event special and take pride in offering quality rentals that help transform gatherings into cherished memories.
